The Outreach Associate position is an integral part of our California Youth Energy Services outreach team. As an Outreach Associate, you would attend events and community gathering places to talk to people about our service. Nearing the summer, you would also help phone bank and translate those sign-ups into booked appointments! CYES CAMPAIGN COORDINATOR
Rising Sun Energy Center is looking for enthusiastic, experienced, and committed individuals with demonstrated and successful outreach experience to implement a 5-month community-based marketing and outreach campaign for the California Youth Energy Services (CYES) program. If you have successfully run marketing or outreach campaigns in the past, and have a passion for sustainability, we want to hear from you.
SUMMER PROGRAM MANAGER
Summer Program Managers work in teams of 2-3, supervised by a Regional Manager and supported by the CYES outreach team, to ensure the delivery of established program goals and deliverables. This position is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with youth and who are looking to increase their managerial experience, further develop their grassroots outreach skills, and gain a foothold in the non-profit or sustainability sectors.
We’re hiring individuals between the ages of 15 and 22 for the Energy Specialist position with our summer job program, California Youth Energy Services (CYES). On the job, pairs of Energy Specialists will visit homes in their community by appointment to help save water and energy. Energy Specialists are responsible for delivering these “Green House Calls” and completing various administrative/office tasks related to the delivery of the service
TRAINING AND RECRUITMENT MANAGER
The Training and Recruitment Manager is responsible for actively recruiting low-income adults experiencing barriers to employment to participate in the GETS program, taking them through the intake process, and leading coordination of the GETS curriculum for each cohort, managing the classroom, and teaching specific lesson plans. The Training and Recruitment Manager works closely with partners to both recruit participants and design and coordinate the training portion of each GETS cohorts.
