HOME > PROGRAMS > LEADERS IN FIELD TRAINING The most committed young adults from Rising Sun's California Youth Energy Services (CYES) program return each year to develop their skills, advance their opportunities, and serve their community in new ways. LIFT is a new program, designed to provide these standout individuals with higher levels of training.

The LIFT program provides CYES Energy Specialists with positions of increased responsibility and a higher rate of pay during the CYES summer, while developing their leadership skills in a nurturing environment. LIFT teaches crucial "soft" managerial skills: how to supervise staff, facilitate trainings, attend to administrative duties, and role-model for peers.
